Need a lawyer? He’s closing his law practice in Lincoln and ready to hit the gas. Traveling around Los Angeles, he takes on cases while balancing his personal life, which includes being a father and two ex-wives. Originally set to air in 2020 with CBS, the series was canceled shortly before filming began due to COVID.

Now, Netflix has picked it up for a 10-episode first season, based on Mickey Haller’s second book, “The Brass Verdict.” Mickey Haller has several cars, all with personalized California license plates with legal stipulations. In California, personalized plates can have up to seven letters/numbers, but all of Mickey’s plates have at least eight. Ok, I just finished this show and I still don’t understand why people gave it low ratings.

Definitely deserves at least an 8-8.5. I was very skeptical because of the low ratings and not so good reviews, but I thought, let’s try a few episodes and then decide. I saw the movie LINCOLN THE LAWYER and we all loved Matthew McConaughey, so Manuel Garcia-Rulfo seemed like the wrong actor, I think he’s also one of the reasons why not many people watch this show, because he’s not a big name, but actually. he’s a good lawyer for Lincoln.
I don’t know him very well
I liked his acting, and I’ll definitely check out his other works as well. And the show has all the ingredients of a crime drama. The acting, pacing, and production are good. Let’s hope Netflix doesn’t cancel it.
It deserves more attention & love than it gets
Some movies and shows cause unnecessary hate, and this show is one of them.
