KJ and Dan have a hard time communicating. After a strained relationship for a few years, the couple take a weekend trip to a friend’s vacation home to rekindle their romance…only to find a dying, but not quite dead, mouse stuck in a glue trap. They disagree on how to treat it, with KJ advocating a quick death while Dan suggests making the mouse’s last moments as pleasant as possible. The couple makes a compromise and moves on, slowly finding their way back to each other in this idyllic environment. Unfortunately, their serenity is broken by the arrival of a small woman who can be charitably described as «eccentric» – she is the sister of their host and had no idea that anyone lived in the family cabin. It’s okay to fall, right? As the couple struggles to juggle this meddling in their already strained dynamic, KJ and Dan begin to worry that this unsavory third wheel may threaten more than just their relationship…
