Recordings in association with Levantine Music. This film reminded me of Talk Radio from many years ago. I knew going into it had limitations. No way I could give it a 10 but Sean Penn is superb and Dakota holds her own. I like the fact that she doesn’t look like she’s GEN-Z. But she is surely comfortable with the world as it is. Penn’s character is not so good with the world. Good movie. Not a great film but a good film. I would watch it again because there is a lot to miss in the dialogue. I also liked that they didn’t give any flashbacks or anything. They just allowed two characters to reach out more than chance meetings ever reached out. It has many layers. It is a modern film. You have to be patient and let the film drain itself.
